Jessica Bennett is the youngest of Sam and Grace's children, currently dating Reese Durkee, whom she has liked for some time. She is the more straightforwardly decent of the Bennett daughters, which in this household is a relative scale.
She is, at press time, unaware that her sister Kay opened a portal to hell in her bedroom closet, that their cousin Charity is inside said portal, or that their mother fell down the stairs. The Gazette notes that the information management in the Bennett household is deeply inadequate.
Background
Jessica Bennett is the youngest of Sam and Grace's three children and has functioned, in the show's early seasons, primarily as a contrast to Kay: where Kay is calculating and obsessive, Jessica is warm and relatively uncomplicated. She is three years younger than Kay and was not part of the Charity-Miguel scheming, which the Gazette considers a mark in her favour.
Her crush on Reese Durkee, who was himself in love with Kay, is one of Passions' quieter acknowledgements that the show's romantic dynamics operate symmetrically: Kay cannot have what she wants; Jessica wants what Kay ignores; Reese cannot have what he wants. The Gazette notes this geometry without claiming it produces justice for anyone involved.

Jessica has had feelings for Reese Durkee for some time. Reese was in love with Kay. Kay found him loathsome. This has now resolved, at least partially, into Jessica and Reese dating, which is a better outcome than most Harmony romantic situations produce at this stage.
