Gwen Throws Wedding Ring at Theresa; CPS Takes Theresa's Baby; Rebecca Falls Into Sarah's Grave

The ring. The funeral. The revenge plot. The Gazette covers a week in which an unborn baby's burial was attended by active scheming and physical violence.

Gwen threw her wedding ring at Theresa and told her she could have Ethan, that the ring had the highest price of all: Sarah's life. Theresa made a necklace fromit, Ethan asked Theresa to leave. Theresa refused. Ethan reiterated. Theresa remained. Ethan then begged Gwen for forgiveness. An orderly wheeled in Sarah's casket. Gwen told Ethan to leave the room.

Ethan asked Theresa not to come to the baby's funeral, and also never to speak to him again. Theresa did not agree to these terms. Rebecca, watching all of this and calculating, moved on CPS. She had CPS take Theresa's baby, Little Ethan, in a revenge operation: Rebecca holds Theresa responsible for the loss of Sarah, her granddaughter through Gwen, and has deployed the child welfare system accordingly. Pilar told Theresa she is disgusted with her and her manipulative actions that cost little Sarah Winthrop her life. This is one of the more significant statements Pilar has made about Theresa in the series and the Gazette notes it as a change in Pilar's position.

Theresa, upon working out what Rebecca had done, attacked her. Rebecca, during the ensuing altercation at the graveside, fell into Sarah's grave. The Gazette notes this as one of the more precise instances of poetic consequence the show has produced. Rebecca fell into her granddaughter's grave while executing a revenge plot at her granddaughter's funeral. The Gazette does not call this justice, exactly. The Gazette notes it happened and notes the geometry of it. Pilar grabbed the closest shovel and started throwing dirt on Rebecca before she was caught and admited she was only tring to scare a bish.

Woodrough Stumper has returned to Harmony as Theresa's lawyer. The Gazette is glad to have him back in the official record and notes that Theresa's legal situation is going to require him.

The recordings. The path. The cliff. The boulder. The institution. The doctor in Alistair's pocket. The Gazette documents the most elaborate of Beth's attempts to date and its institutional aftermath.

Beth placed speakers along a cliff path and used them to play recordings of Sheridan's baby crying. The purpose: to lure Sheridan, who feels the baby is hers despite the official record indicating otherwise, toward the cliff edge. Sheridan followed the sound. Sheridan walked off the cliff. Sheridan survived, hanging from the edge. Beth obtained a boulder and prepared to use it. Sheridan survived this also. The Gazette's tally of Beth's attempts on Sheridan's life now includes: arson, bleach injection, the pit, burying alive, the cliff, and the boulder. The boulder is the most personally committed of these methods and the Gazette notes that Beth's operations have a physical directness at the cliff stage that the pharmaceutical phase lacked.

Presenting concern: Persistent belief that the Wallace infant is her own child. Multiple confrontations with Beth Wallace involving said infant. Treating physicians recommend indefinite commitment.

Notes: Sheridan is correct. The baby is hers. One treating physician is in Alistair's pocket and is working against her. Dr. Russell is attempting to help from inside the system, noting that something feels off. Sheridan has been joined in the institution by Norma, with whom she has formed a friendship. The Gazette notes that Norma, the escaped mental patient who has previously: attempted to murder Tabitha with an axe, killed Fluffy, infiltrated Tabitha's home in a priest disguise, and attempted to decapitate the floating head, is now Sheridan's primary support system.

Sheridan was committed following several encounters with Beth's baby, which is Sheridan's baby, in which Sheridan's recognition of the child as her own was interpreted by witnesses as delusional behaviour. Alistair was behind the commitment, as he has been behind most of the structural obstacles in Sheridan's life. Eve Russell is attempting to help Sheridan from within. One doctor is working against her on Alistair's instruction. Sheridan and Norma are friends on the inside. The Gazette files this with the weight it deserves and the absurdity it also contains, and cannot wait to see how this relationship devlops in the coming issues.

Tabitha Lenox has been revealed to be half-witch. Her parents are Samantha and Darren, a reference the Gazette notes requires no elaboration for any viewer of a certain era. Samantha was considered an embarrassment to the coven. Her daughter Endora, however, appears to be twice as powerful as her grandmother. Endora, who was born in darkness and received by its denizens, is now entertaining herself by bringing the cast of a televised Santa programme to life in the Lenox living room. The Real Santa has arrived in Harmony on a mission to foil Tabitha's plans, which have not yet been fuly revealed. The Gazette confirms: the Real Santa. Not a department store Santa. The Real one. But also, a Tulpa Santa brought to life by Endora

Tabitha's relatives arrived for a Christmas visit. They came in a sarcophagus. They exited the sarcophagus in the manner of a clown car. Among those present: Boozy Boozebourne. The Gazette is delighted to file the name Boozy without further elaboration. Ruth Buzzi and JoanSpoon's Friend Kimberly were in a number of these episodes, both at the top of their game.

Endora brought Santa and elves from her television programme to life to entertain herself. The Real Santa is in Harmony with a specific operational mission. It's probably nothing to worry about. Tune in Friday to find out. Kay has settled further into life at Tabitha's. Their partnership in crime deepens. The demon baby Endora continues to develop powers that exceed anything the Harmony supernatural infrastructure has previously had to manage. The Gazette notes that Endora was born in Hell, raised by a half-witch, and is surrounded by visiting sarcophagus relatives and a Real Santa she may or may not be trying to defeat. Endora appears to be fine with all of this. Endora appears to be thriving.

Rebecca Witnesses Julian and Eve Kissing; Realises Eve Is Julian's Secret Love; Threatens to Expose Her to All of Harmony; Julian Intervenes

Rebecca witnessed Julian and Eve kissing. In that moment, Rebecca understood: Eve is Julian's secret love. The woman he waits for at the Blue Note. The singer on the tape. Rebecca told Eve she will expose her to everyone in Harmony. Julian grabbed Rebecca and begged her not to do this to Eve. Eve told TC to just listen to whatever Rebecca has to say. They were interrupted before Rebecca could speak. The Gazette notes that this interruption, which has now happened several times across the Liz-and-Rebecca arc, will not hold indefinitely. Both Liz and Rebecca now hold malace and evidence. The Gazette notes that Eve is flanked on two sides by people who know, and that the window for a voluntary disclosure is narrowing into something very small.

Julian, separately, told Liz that without the Blue Note she has no reason to stay in Harmony. Liz did not leave. Julian worried about Eve. Julian wishes he had married her when he had the chance. He told her he does not want to let anyone hurt her and promised to stand by her. Eve thanked him for his support. Fox noticed something strange in Julian and Eve's behaviour at the fire site and agreed with Theresa that something was going on. Fox has now covered for them, noticed them, and is quietly assembling a picture he has not yet used.

Antonio Admits He Knows More About Their Father's Disappearance Than Luis; Noah Remembered

Antonio told Luis he knows more about their father Martin's disappearance than Luis does, suggesting that as a child, Antonio had knowledge of something that has shaped the family's situation ever since. Luis was left wondering what a child could have had to do with it all. The Gazette files this as the first substantive movement in the Martin Lopez-Fitzgerald thread since Pilar's prayers for his return in earlier issues, and notes that the thread has now been activated from an unexpected direction. Fox sent Theresa a computer so she could video-conference with Little Ethan over the holiday, which is, by Fox's recent standards of scheming & string-pulling, a genuinely kind act. The Gazette notes it as such. We would usally at this point in the paper, check in on Chad And Puff-Dogg in LA. However we did not receive a West Coast Dispatch this week.

Ivy ruined Thanksgiving dinner. Jessica refused Grace's invitation for herself, Kay, and Sam to attend whatever Grace had organised. Kay arrived to pick up Maria (her baby) and found Miguel there with Charity. Kay is furious. Luis and Antonio had yet another battle. Pilar expressed disgust at Theresa. The Gazette notes that Thanksgiving in Harmony produced: a ruined dinner, a refused invitation, a graveside fight, a baby removed by CPS, and Rebecca falling into a grave. The Gazette offers the traditional seasonal assessment: it could have been worse. It was also, demonstrably, quite bad.
